Jules Pascin (1885–1930), often called the “Prince of Montparnasse,” was a Bulgarian-born painter who became a central figure of the Parisian avant-garde. He is best remembered for his delicate, melancholic depictions of women and his bohemian lifestyle, which made him a legendary figure in early 20th-century art circles.
One of the most popular painting is Hermine au Grand Chapeau.
